Answer |
How do you make Lady Bugs? |
We grow Lady Bugs on a proprietary medium. The medium we use is completely vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free. |
Why do I need Lady Bugs? |
A woman’s microbiome (all the of the good bacteria in your gut that keeps you healthy) is typically dominated by Lactobacilli. As long as your numbers stay high, Lactobacilli are usually able to fight off infections. However, if your numbers start to dwindle, you may be at risk for urinary tract infections and vaginal infections. Lady Bugs is a daily probiotic that replenishes the numbers of “good bacteria” in your urinary and reproductive tracts. When used regularly, it can help prevent common infections, including UTI’s, yeast infections, and bacterial vaginosis. We’ve formulated the optimum probiotic blend to boost your urinary and vaginal health, and promote pH balance throughout your reproductive system. |
Will Lady Bugs cure an infection? |
Depends. It’s important to note that Lady Bugs is best used as a preventive measure against infections. By maintaining a healthy number of Lactobacillus bacteria, your body will be better able to fight pathogenic bacteria from the start and help prevent full-blown infections. If you are currently experiencing an infection, we recommend you see a doctor for medical treatment. Once you’ve healed, we strongly recommend taking Lady Bugs on a regular basis to help prevent recurrence. |
Does this help cure bacterial vaginosis (BV)? |
Lady Bugs is best used as a preventive measure. If you currently have bacterial vaginosis, we recommend consulting your doctor as a treatment of antibiotics may be necessary. Once your infection has cleared, use Lady Bugs to help decrease your chance of a bacterial vaginosis infection recurrence. |
Which should I take? Lady Bugs or Trust Your Gut? |
This depends on what benefits you’re after. We recommend Lady Bugs specifically for women’s health. We’ve formulated it with healthy bacterial strains that dominate your urinary and reproductive tracts. We recommend Trust Your Gut for men, women, and children of all ages. We formulated Trust Your Gut with a variety of bacterial strains known to support overall digestive health and immunity. If you’d like some help deciding which probiotic is best for you, please email us at info@ora.organic and we’ll help you out! |
Can I take Lady Bugs and Trust Your Gut together? |
Yes! These two probiotics are different and are formulated to support different parts of your health. Lady Bugs supports a woman’s urinary and reproductive tracts while Trust Your Gut supports overall digestive health and immune health. We recommend taking both for a comprehensive and preventive probiotic routine. However, make sure to check with your doctor before starting any new probiotic. It’s always good to be on the safe side! |
How and when do I take Lady Bugs? |
Take your daily dose of Lady Bugs every day at the same time. It doesn’t matter what time of day you take your dose, but make sure you take it with a meal (or no more than 30 minutes before). |
Can men take this? |
This probiotic was created for women, but we don’t discriminate! The bacterial strains we’ve chosen for Lady Bugs may also provide gastrointestinal benefits for men. So, gentlemen, we recommend discussing the different strains with your doctor before starting Lady Bugs. |
Can I break the capsules open? |
Yes! Similar to our Trust Your Gut probiotic capsules, Lady Bugs can be opened and sprinkled onto food or drink. This is ideal for kids or women who aren’t fans of swallowing pills. |
